TBS Makom Teen Advocacy 

Together with our teen advocates, we aim to create a safe space for teens to delve into challenging topics while exploring their Jewish identities.  We work to insure and equip our teens with the tools and knowledge to be able to identify and confront barriers and challenges before them in the world at large.  Our focus is to partner with them and to advocate to drive change and help them to learn where and how they can be more involved in creating a just world. 

We focus on relevant issues that are important to the teens, assist them in discussing these issues and enable them to become pro-active and better informed in the “hot topics” that will allow them to grow into the responsible adults they are destined to become. 

The Makom Teen Advocacy facilitator is Sharon Solomon, Director of Education – Community Engagement along with members of our Teen Advocacy Board and parent liaison.
